THE MASKED FIGHTER

A logo created for an unreleased copycat show modeled after “The Masked Singer.” The premise of the show was to use character skins to disguise a professional SSBM player’s identity, and have hosts make guesses based on their knowledge of the scene.

The Logo is designed to mimic “The Masked Singer” logo but also pay homage to a “stage” in the game called Fountain of Dreams, which felt appropriate to use when tying Melee to the stage/performative aspect of the show.

TRUTH OR D’AIR

A Super Smash Bros Melee series whose play on words references an in-game move called “Down-Air,” popularly shortened to “D’Air".” Marth - a popular Melee character - is pictured performing the D’Air.

TOPH’S TOURNEY PREVIEW

A series hosted by SSBM personality Toph. The show was a quick guide preceding an upcoming tournament that covered logistical details, matchup analysis and winner predictions.

RACE TO WORLD FIRST: SEPULCHER OF THE FIRST ONES

A logo created for BDGG’s broadcast of Race to World First. Although BDGG had participated in races prior, this logo was created to brand the series wordmark and would aesthetically change depending on the theme of the race.

Imagery & colors from the race theme were incorporated into the logo design.

RACE TO WORLD FIRST: VAULT OF THE INCARNATES

The second logo created for BDGG’s broadcast of Race to World First. This race was themed about ancient dragons; however, the direction of the broadcast aimed to be unique from other teams with its cyberpunk aesthetic.

THE GOLDEN GAUNTLET

The logo was designed to look & feel vintage and comedically edgy. Inspired by the ostentatiousness of 80’s pop culture (Hair Metal bands, Conan the Barbarian), the logo was meant to mimic that same over-the-top glamour.

GG REACTS

A logo created for a reaction YouTube series featuring the four personalities of GG Melee.

THE PANTHEON

A series that compiled topical SSBM clips for hosts to arrange in the popular tier list format. The logo features two top-tier competitive characters from the game and the series was designed to reference Classical architecture & culture.

THE MELEE-ION DOLLAR PYRAMID

A logo created for a mock game show modeled after “The $100,000 Pyramid.” This show is one of many “Mock Game Shows” GG Melee frequently published.

LOCALS ROAD TRIP

A series designed to mimic the grassroots effort of local SSBM tournaments. The imagery of a standard sedan, CRT strapped to the roof, and carpool of friends were all included to personify the lack of institutional support for competitive SSBM compared to contemporary esports.

A logo created for a social media agency with the slogan “Don’t Overthink It.” The CEOs named their company after their mothers, who inspired their decision into opening a woman-owned & founded business.
